The Weaver Modular Level System helps you establish a plumb line that's straight and level to get your optic's reticle exactly in line with your firearm's bore. It's critical to have a rifle scope’s crosshairs aligned to the axis of the bore, especially when shooting at longer distances. If the scope is not aligned, adjustments to either windage or elevation settings will result in changes to point of impact shifting both horizontally and vertically. While the rifle may be zeroed in for a fixed distance, for a shot taken at another distance, the bullet will strike right or left of the point you were aiming at. With the Modular Level System, your shots will land true no matter the distance.
